  This place is a must go when you visit Edinburgh. Spacious but cosy, what they serve here is a food experience that you won't have anywhere else. The set menu offer options of 4, 6 or 8 courses that are a mix of great tastes, sensations and textures. All brought to you by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Just make sure you have time, because the dinner can last at least 2.5h! Well worth!

  Loved it first time (and gave it 5*). My latest experience was not as good - loved the wine - however the food reminded me of 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.

  The decor is minimalist and rustic, the service is exemplary, and each dish is unique, interesting, and delicious. It's not the cheapest place around, but you absolutely get what you pay for -- an incredible dining experience.

  This place really amazed me. The smell, the decor, the level of lighting and the music were all fantastic and fitted in with the theme perfectly. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The cocktail I had wasn't the most amazing drink I'd ever had and I'd probably never order it again, but it was different and exciting. I had a look at the dinner menu and it looked great, although didn't try it, due to being fully booked . Only criticism was that it felt a bit cold, the temperature, but that could be down to it being Scotland? Great place, will visit again for dinner next time I am in Edinburgh.
