  Lovely food, tasty, wide selection of beer and other drinks, service was phenomenal! Especially a blond lady in a white shirt, she should be a role model to everyone in hospitality!
  We will definitely come again when we come back to Edinburgh.
  There is also a nice beer garden so you can enjoy the sun.

  Dissapointing. Had the Sunday lunch. The potatoes were either not cooked enough or just the wrong type of potato. The Yorkshire pudding I had was not fully risen but my friends ones were... Consistency isn't there I guess... On a positive note, the parsnips and red cabbage were awesome. Meat was OK.

  I went there a couple of weekends ago with my girlfriend for Sunday lunch. We ordered a roast each (one Vegetarian, one Pork). The menu stated that the roasts came with cauliflower cheese, roasted parsnips, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding etc. The Pork one should also have come with stuffing wrapped in bacon, and bramley apple butter. What came out was somewhat disappointing.
  The only things that came out with the Pork/vegetarian roast were a few potatoes, cabbage and kale. We had to ask specifically for the rest of the meal, and all that came out was a Yorkshire pudding, again with no explanation. When we asked again, they said they had run out of everything else and they were giving an extra potato instead.
  We were not told while ordering that the majority of what was on the menu was not available or had run out. This was obviously quite disappointing, considering we had spoken to 3 different members of staff before ordering and none of them told us that half of the meal was unavailable.

  Had lunch there on Sunday 23rd for my daughters birthday. Service was excellent and the food was also excellent. The place is quite quirky with lots of different areas for eating - the place certainly has character. Most of the tables all had reserved signs on them which tells it's own story. We will be back
