  Piatto Verde is 100% my local haunt. Ever since my husband and I discovered this charming, authentic, tiny wee Italian joint we have been back (usually dragging friends along) at every given opportunity! The food is always amazing--my personal favorite is the Funghi e Ricotta Spaghetti which is the closest I've gotten to food nirvana. Couple your meal with a carafe of house wine, then at the end treat yoself to some profiteroles which to my mind are the best in town! You'll be even more impressed after your meal by how reasonable the prices are. If the food, prices, and cute interior didn't do it, the relaxed friendliness of the wait staff should. Seriously, give this place a go, and don't be surprised if you see me hanging around too!
