  Just a wonderful experience. On par with the French laundry in terms of service and quality. The menu was authentic and local. It blended creativity with comfort to make a delicious journey with food. Also, the sommelier was the highlight for us. She was engaging and enthusiastic not only about the wine but also our experience. And the wine she hand picked for our pairing could not have been better.

  Singularly the best dining experience I've ever had. I was fortunate enough to be taken to Kitchin for a birthday present. Absolutely everything was perfect - the relaxed ambience, the tasteful decor, the staff's unfussy but timely service and, most crucially of all, the outstanding food. The presentation, colours, flavours and textures were all spectacular. My wife had the seasonal surprise tasting menu and I opted for the classic surprise tasting menu. All courses were sensationally good bu the dish referred to as 'rock pool' was out of this world. Incredible!
  I'm delighted that, having raved about it since going there, I've just had another present to go back again! I can't wait.
  Having eaten is some wonderful fine dining establishments around the world, it's a privilege to know that somewhere so world class is just a short drive away for me.

  One of the best restaurant experiences in Edinburgh. We booked a table for two with the Classic Surprise Tasting Menu, and the journey through every dish was nothing short of fantastic. Sure, the restaurant is a luxury and will cost accordingly, but the unique and perfectly prepared food, accompanied by an amazing service, makes it all worth it!
