  Excellent food at good prices. Basic service from staff. They don't serve alcohol but they let you bring your own.

  Not worth it - undercooked doughy nans and average food. Must be a Bengali place. Too bad we came here instead of the many great Indian restaurants in the U.K., we thought the fact that these guys have been around since 1947 meant good food! Sorry but not upto par for a U.K. Indian restaurant! Maybe it's targeted to a non-Indian audience judging from how busy it was.

  Good atmosphere. Good food, but not that special. Great place to meet. More like a pub than a restaurant.
  
  I only gave it three stars because of the service, which is efficient but not very friendly. I almost felt like I was being processed like a component in a factory. The staff seemed to always have an eye elsewhere, like someone at a party looking for their next chat.
