  Proper budget hotel and there's nothing fancy about the rooms. The price though is pretty hefty given the (lack of) services you get at a budget hotel. The location is great and the breakfast is pretty decent.
  
  There was quite a bit of noise from the bars close to the hotel late on Friday and Saturday nights but it didn't bother​ us a lot.
  
  Stay here if you want to be somewhere central but be prepared to pay for it as well!

  Check in was very pleasant, and we were able to check in early for a wedding, which was a good help. The bed was a little bit firm, there was quite a lot of noise during the night (3rd floor - I do understand this is city centre on a Saturday!). The room was cold when I arrived but the heating quickly worked well. There was plenty hot water in the morning for a good shower. The towels were truly awful - like trying to dry yourself with a plastic bag or something equally non- absorbent. Decent towel would have made it an 8 or 9, surprisingly important. Would have brought my own had I known.

  Very helpful staff on arrival,
  Great compact room, and very good bed and pillows, with tea tray replenished each day.
  Good shower, but concerned about step out if bathroom, especially at night. Would have like a hand towel each, as well as the bath towel provided.
  No mirror near sockets for hairdryer to plug in, so lucky I had brought a small one of my own!

  Hotel is really nice - great staff. Excellent breakfast. Room is perfectly fine and the bed very comfy. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise at the back of the hotel with a nightclub or drinkers until 2am. Not the fault of the hotel of course and would certainly recommend it for the location. Ask for a room at the front!
